Get answers to common questions about 1Hr Prenatal Massage.
Generally yes—our 1Hr Prenatal Massage is designed to be safe when performed by trained therapists. We use modified techniques and positions; however, always consult your healthcare provider if you have high-risk conditions or are within early pregnancy. We require disclosure of medical history.
If you have a high-risk pregnancy or medical complications, please obtain physician clearance before booking a 1Hr Prenatal Massage. Conditions like preeclampsia, clotting disorders, placenta previa, or uncontrolled hypertension require medical approval. Otherwise our intake form and therapist consultation generally suffice.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing to your 1Hr Prenatal Massage and undress only to the level you prefer. Therapists fully drape you for modesty and warmth; you may keep your bra on if desired. Remove jewelry and communicate any comfort needs at arrival.
We use side-lying and semi-reclined positions with bolsters and pregnancy pillows during the 1Hr Prenatal Massage. Prone positioning is avoided. These supports protect circulation, reduce pressure on the abdomen, and allow therapists to safely work on the back, hips, and legs.
We use pregnancy-safe, hypoallergenic lotions and gentle, lightly scented oils for the 1Hr Prenatal Massage. Strong essential oils are avoided; therapists can use unscented products on request. If you have allergies or sensitivities, tell us and we will perform a patch test.
Your therapist will suggest home care after the 1Hr Prenatal Massage, including gentle stretches, leg elevation, hydration, and light self-massage to ease soreness. We may recommend regular sessions, posture adjustments, and simple breathing techniques to prolong relaxation and reduce recurring discomfort.
